Some children struggle learning written language despite being provided the same learning environments as their peers and siblings. This area can also be affected by or co-occur with speech and language difficulties.

If your child struggles in this area, we will evaluate to see what breakdowns are occurring, looking at phonemic awareness, vocabulary, phonics, orthography, and more. Let's get your child the individualized support they need!

Speech is your child's ability to pronounce sounds correctly to be clearly understood. They may have age-appropriate content, grammar, and organization of their language, but the breakdown occurs in the specific sounds they are using. Other children may have a language disorder that co-occurs with their speech sound disorder.

Some kids may have just a few sounds that are tricky (ex. "r"s and "l"s). Others have a more complex pattern of sound errors. We will evaluate to see if their errors are age-expected, and will provide fun and structured therapy to correct errors or error patterns that are not appropriate!
