To providing your child with the individualized, tailored treatment they need, we will first perform a formal evaluation. Assessments will be selected based off of the initial information given to document your child's baseline, and to compare their abilities to other children their age. This will assist in determining 1) If they qualify for services or are within the normal range for their age, and 2) What specific areas need focus.
If the evaluation is done and it is determined that your child does qualify for services, a plan of care will be created to detail your child's specific target goals. We love to have fun in therapy and will provide evidence-based treatment within play and structured game tasks! Please know that you may be pulled in to join in the fun and so you can learn how to support your child at home! For best growth opportunity, you will need to be committed to home programs when provided. Regular practice will lead to best outcomes.

Some kids may have just a few sounds that are tricky (ex. "r"s and "l"s). Others have a more complex pattern of sound errors. We will evaluate to see if their errors are age-expected, and will provide fun and structured therapy to correct errors or error patterns that are not appropriate!
