Selina is a speech-language pathologist with over 9 years of experience providing speech therapy services for children, holding a Masters of Arts in Communication Disorders from New Mexico State University (NMSU). Besides having worked with children in schools, at homes, and in clinics, she actively provides services at a local rehabilitation hospital for adults. In a love of learning and desire to contribute to the next generation of speech therapists, she has also previously served as a clinical educator at the university clinic of NMSU.
Selina is nationally certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed in the state of New Mexico to provide speech and language therapy.
A homeschool mama of three, Selina enjoys teaching and providing experiences for her children, camping, watercolor painting, reading, and always learning! She is so looking forward to getting to know you and your child!
In the field of speech therapy, Selina specializes in disorders common to children, including speech sound disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders, and reading disorders (which are written language disorders).
